The Sims begin their Journey to Batuu

The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu offers players an original gameplay experience, featuring the authentic sights and sounds of the Star Wars galaxy on the remote planet of Batuu. For the first time ever in The Sims, players and their Sims can journey to the edge of the galaxy and unite with iconic characters like Rey and Kylo Ren, socialize with locals at Oga’s Cantina while enjoying DJ R-3X’s interstellar hits, create a coveted lightsaber and construct their very own droid to accompany them on their adventures.

As a new visitor to Batuu, Sims will cross paths with members of The Resistance, the First Order, and the scoundrels, who are vying for control over the Black Spire Outpost. Players can pledge allegiance to the group of their choice and complete missions to earn their trust and some galactic credits along the way. As Sims take on new challenges and critical missions, they’ll increase their reputation and unlock new rewards like starfighter access, new clothing, artifacts, and equipment, and eventually meet the leaders of the forces on Batuu. Will they join Rey and Vi Moradi as part of the Resistance, serve under Kylo Ren and the First Order, or fall in with Hondo Ohnaka and the scoundrels? No matter which path Simmers choose, they’ll watch as the Star Wars universe comes to life around them in their own unique ways.

Along the journey, Sims can explore the planet and collect kyber crystals to craft their very own lightsaber, visit the Droid Depot to construct a trusted droid companion to help out on their missions or take flight in iconic starfighter ships. But the fun doesn’t end on Batuu! When Sims return home they can bring back new artifacts, decor and recipes inspired by their travels, go head to head with Sims in playful lightsaber challenges, play a game of sabacc, or take their droid to all of the hip parties in their neighborhood. The possibilities are endless as Simmers embark on the adventure of a lifetime and ‘play with life’ in a galaxy far, far away.
