In Short | An endless ski run does not provide for endless fun... |
Doodle Ski is about as simple a skiing game as you'll find. Your shades-wearing blue triangle on skis makes its way down an endless mountain that looks like it was sketched on graph paper, hence the "Doodle" in the title. The mountain is home to some expected obstacles such as trees and cabins, as well as few more unusual ones such as penguins and yetis that don't seem to like the triangle too much. Obstacles are avoided by tilting the iPhone to the left and right to steer around them. Yetis and penguins are dealt with by tapping the screen to throw a snowball. And that's all there is to the game. You just keep going down the hill until you crash into something. The goal is simply to keep playing as long as possible and beat your personal best. Doodle Ski is the kind of game that you'll play a couple of times and then grow bored with it. You may occasionally go back to it when you have a minute or two to kill, but odds are that you have another game on your iPhone or iPod touch that you'll go back to first. Final Rating: 58% | |
