A Digital Deluxe Edition of the game is also available from today, featuring the base game and two alternative costumes for Caroline: the “Rebel Biker” outfit and “Classic Caroline Outfit”. Players who already own the base game, either physically or digitally, can purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade to access the additional content.
To celebrate the game arriving on Nintendo Switch™ 2, a new Launch Trailer was released that teases the nightmarish journey Caroline will take through Villa Hess and the twisted ‘Other Side’, the mind-bending puzzles that she will have to solve, the cast of mysterious characters that she will meet along the way, and the terrifying enemies that will stand in her way.
In Tormented Souls 2, players step back into the shoes of Caroline Walker as she finds herself at the center of an entirely new nightmare. After her sister is abducted by a sinister cult, she searches for her across the isolated town of Villa Hess, where seemingly deserted streets conceal corrupted inhabitants, from tortured fanatics to quadrupedal creatures wielding deadly blades. But the horrors lurking in the town are only the beginning.
Caroline can use her supernatural abilities to cross into the mysterious ‘Other Side’, a nightmarish reality where changing the past can reshape the present, revealing new paths forward. However, the Other Side is home to some of the most dangerous creatures she will encounter, forcing her to remain vigilant as she explores this twisted reality.
Armed with her trusty pneumatic nailer and an arsenal of brutal makeshift weapons, Caroline must adapt to each encounter, switching between weapons in the heat of battle to stand a chance of survival. As players explore these unsettling locations, they’ll need to overcome deadly foes, solve mind-bending puzzles and forge uneasy alliances to uncover the truth and reunite the sisters.
