From Ubisoft:
Designed as an aggressive close-range brawler, Kaizu brings a new offensive-focused playstyle centered around chaining Vulnerable effects, stacking self-buffs, and seamlessly combining attacks with the game's other playable characters: Flux, Ekku, and Vekta.
Kaizu Joins the Playable Roster
Kaizu is now available as the fourth playable character in Morbid Metal. The full roster now consists of Kaizu, Flux, Ekku, and Vekta, all of whom can be swapped between mid-combat using the game's shapeshifting system.
New Aggressive Melee Playstyle
Kaizu was built "out of rage instead of purpose" and is designed around relentless offense. His toolkit emphasizes close-range pressure, buff stacking, and finishing attacks rather than mobility or retreat.
Vulnerable Status Encourages Character Swapping
Several of Kaizu's abilities apply Vulnerable, causing enemies to take increased damage. Importantly, Vulnerable remains active even after players shift into another character, creating additional opportunities for cross-character combo chains.
Story Expands Morbid Metal's AI Lore
Kaizu came closer than any previous model to defeating the Operator before escaping into the Void with Eden's help. He is now preserved within the Void as a benchmark for future creations and plays a key role in Eden's effort to free the Simulation from the Operator.
