From Ubisoft:
This new season introduces new Defender Noor, targeted map updates, extensive Operator balancing changes, modernized maps, the new Legend Division ranked playlist, and new limited-time arcade modes and events.
Designed around player feedback and competitive depth, Operation Split Fire continues Year 11’s focus on skill refinement, tactical decision-making, and fair competition.
Seasonal content includes:
-
New Defender Noor: The Egyptian Defender joins the roster with the Horus Lance Launcher, introducing new counterplay options against shield Operators and expanding defensive strategies. Noor can equip the Commando-9 or Alda 5.56 as primary weapons, the TACOPS 1911 or Bailiff 410 as secondary weapons, and choose between barbed wire or a deployable shield for area control and plant denial.
-
Villa Targeted Map Update: Villa takes center stage, as the underutilized Living Room/Library objective site is relocated to the basement. Supported by permanent layout changes, the update creates more viable defensive setups and encourages greater site selection variety.
-
Operator Balancing Updates: Kali and Dokkaebi receive significant gameplay updates aimed at refining counterplay and expanding tactical options. Additional balancing adjustments have also been made to Lion, Echo, Kapkan, and Claymores.
-
Modernized maps: Stadium Alpha, Stadium Bravo, and House receive visual overhauls as part of the Modernized Maps Initiative. The Shooting Range and Tutorials also benefit from updated visuals to improve overall consistency and readability.
-
New Ranked Playlist: The new Legend Division offers an additional competitive challenge for top-ranked players. Launching mid-season, the playlist is available to players who have reached Champion rank and completed ShieldGuard Secure Platform verification and two-factor authentication.
-
3v3 Arcade Mode: Building on the popularity of 1v1, the new 3v3 Arcade mode delivers faster-paced matches with smaller teams while preserving the tactical depth that defines Siege.
-
Time-Limited In-Game Events: The all-new Wasteland Circuit event runs from September 23 through October 13, transforming drones into high-speed racers competing across custom-built obstacle courses. Later in the season, the fan-favorite Doktor's Curse returns for Halloween with an expanded Operator lineup featuring Mute, Grim, and Hibana.
With Operation Split Fire now live, Rainbow Six Siege players can explore a refreshed seasonal experience built around tactical depth, competitive challenge, and new gameplay opportunities.
