Cohen: 1939 demo released

Dateline: 5/22/2026

A demo of the tactical shooter Cohen: 1939 is now available on Steam.

From 2P Games:

Birmingham, 1939. You control Elisa, a widow seeking vengeance after her gangster husband has been murdered. Following Richard’s brutal assassination on the cold streets, it was clear that everyone involved in his death would pay the price in blood. Now it’s time to raise hell in fast-paced gunfights with a diverse arsenal that will let you adapt your style to the weapons available and the level design.

Thanks to meticulously designed levels and diverse enemies, every encounter demands sharp strategy. Use blind spots, manipulate noise to ambush groups, and indulge in a bloodbath in a rain-slicked, fog-choked Birmingham brought to life with period-accurate tailoring, soot-stained streets, and gaslit alleys.

Developer Cube of Cube and publisher 2P Games announce that its fast-paced, top down tactical shooter set in Birmingham in the late 1930s, Cohen: 1939, has a demo now available on Steam. The game will join the Steam Next Fest that will be held this June, 15-22. Step into the shoes of Elisa, a bloodthirsty widow looking to avenge the murder of her gangster husband.

This newly released demo features the game's first two chapters, offering three playable characters, six meticulously designed levels, and one intense boss showdown—delivering approximately one hour of exhilarating combat.
