A brand new chapter of Palia begins today with the launch of the Royal Highlands Expansion. This brand new Expansion invites Palians to explore a new sun-kissed landscape where the lore of Palia’s Ancient Humans runs deep, with a new Home Line, Rococo-inspired decor, a new regal Villager named Eshelon, and the long-awaited addition of Mounts, starting with Horses. Bursting with new content, the Royal Highlands delves into the past while adding a new chapter to the main story of Palia.
To access the Royal Highlands, players will embark from the De Mer Docks in Elderwood to begin their journey, meeting the brand-new character Eshelon, the sole heir to the Bahari Dukedom, helping him as he investigates the strange happenings in the area. The Royal Highlands Adventure Zone - The Royal Highlands Expansion introduces a brand new Adventure Zone, featuring a vast new map filled with content for every skill, new systems that reshape how players explore and interact with the world, and the next chapter in Palia’s main story.

New Character Eshelon - Meet Eshelon the sole heir to the Bhari Dukedom and expert on Ancient Human devices at the Bahair Institute. As you work together, discover the secrets of the Royal Highlands.

Introducing Mounts - Formerly thought to be lost to Ancient Humans, Horses have made their debut in Palia. Players will adjust gaits, manage stamina and make every journey unique with their new equestrian pals.

Breeding and Ranching for Mounts - Palians can also raise their very own stable of horses, blending aesthetics and functionality when creating their dream horse.

New Side Quests - Face new challenges and puzzles alongside scattered discovery quests throughout the Royal Highlands.

Brand New Discoverables - Explore new discoverables such as Amber Echo, a new currency local to the Royal Highlands, Campsites scattered across the fields, new refined recipes from the Aristocrat’s Set and more!

Ancient Artifacts and Relics - Artifacts that give a glimpse of the ancient past and are tied to the influential Enfield family are scattered across the Highlands, providing a glimpse into the former lives of the ancient affluent family.

Mining and Foraging - A new material called "Jadium" has been added alongside expanded crafting, storage and cooking options.

New Creatures, Insects and Fishing - An exciting new ecosystem awaits, including new huntable creatures, catchable insects and fish.

The Ancient Home Line - The Ancient Human Home Line features a refined elegance and is fully compatible, allowing players to mix and match modules.

Lunar Path: Path of the Pony - This new Lunar path features sparkling rewards sure to entice any Palian, such as the new Housing Capstone unlocking the option for a three-story home.

Outfit Dye and Customization - A new Clothing Dye system has been added, which includes a brand new system of dyes for player clothing. Outfits will now have four different aspects available for customization.
The Premium Store has also added some additional content, allowing players to ride in style with the additions of the Highland Champion, Ashwood Ranger, Paddock Prime and Courser Casual collections. Additionally, supporter packs are being introduced, including the Highlands Supporter Pack and the Royal Highlands Supporter Pack, featuring a variety of bundled items available for purchase.
