From Hooded Horse:
In the harsh world of Fogpiercer, the train is the deck, where build choices determine which cards are available when fighting off the hordes of unreasonably angry bandits desperate to derail players on their way to salvation. Each carriage holds a unique set of cards, and new cards are added to the deck through upgrades and purchasing extra carriages.
Players must guide their train through a branching world map. The journey won’t be easy, and to reach the end of the line, they’ll have to make the right choices at the right time. Don’t fear failure – with the roguelite meta-layer, there’ll be plenty of unlocks and progression to make subsequent runs easier.
The demo will let players pick from two drivers – Monica and Pan – each with their own set of cards and special abilities, to lead the journey across the wasteland, using any combination of up to four carriages in an action-packed struggle against bandits, bad weather, and even a boss or two.
Steam Next Fest runs from February 23 to March 4, 2026, but the updated demo will stay live after the event ends.
Fogpiercer will be released in 2026.
