Infogrames, a subsidiary of Atari, has officially relaunched Awesomenauts. All current Awesomenauts owners on Steam can update to the new version for free, while new players can purchase the game for $19.99, currently discounted at $14.99 until November 12.
Changes include:

Starstorm and Overdrive paid expansions now come with the base game for free

In-game chat has been re-introduced with a layer of reporting

Quality of life upgrades, including instant access to nauts and droppods, an updated UI, and more
When Atari acquired the colorful, free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena game in 2023 the title was on the verge of being shut down. After two years of investigation and development, the game has been relaunched as a premium title. The new version of the game benefitted from extensive testing by and feedback from the player community.
