This year, Mohamed Salah is poised to claim the Top Men’s Rating spot for the first time, earning an overall rating of 91 – matching world-renowned attacker Kylian Mbappé. Additional highlights include Lamine Yamal breaking into the Top 10 Men’s Players list and receiving the biggest upgrade of +8 points since last year’s title, while Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmatí share the Top Women’s spot for the first time in FC history with an OVR of 91!
In addition to Yamal, various other players have also received substantial upgrades in their Ratings since FC 25 and have also placed in the top 10 ratings for the very first time, making them a bigger force to reckon with on this year’s pitch. These include Raphinha (+5) and Hakimi (+5) for the men and Mariona (+5), Russo (+4) and Shaw (+3) for the women.
The FC community and footballers alike are encouraged to voice their opinions about player ratings via the Ratings Database (online) and across FC social channels (comment sections) letting the FC team know whose Rating they felt was accurate or unjust. The feedback forum will be available once the full Ratings Database has gone live, Friday 12th, 12PM PST/8PM BST/9PM CET.
With an EA SPORTS FC 26 roster that is 20,000+ players strong, all players in Football Ultimate Team are rated relative to their leagues and the athletes they play against in the real-world, further contributing to an unprecedented level of authenticity.
Ratings will be consistent with other modes in the game where men's and women's teams play independently.
Throughout this week, full player ratings will be announced across the 750+ clubs and 35+ leagues playable in FC 26.
