With the 2025 NBA All-Star Game just two weeks out, the buzz is building to watch the NBA’s greatest face off in San Francisco. As players hone their craft at the season’s midway point, 2K has revealed the latest NBA 2K25 player ratings, with legends Lebron James: 96 OVR (+1) and DeMar DeRozan: 87 OVR (+1), and rookie Kel’el Ware: 80 OVR (+6) improving their ratings as they prove their tenacity on the court. As the NBA’s all-time leading scorer with 22 years of professional ball, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James’: 96 OVR (+1) legend status is no question. Averaging 23.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 9.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over the past two weeks, the four-time NBA Champion’s consistent excellence cannot be ignored. His 9.6 assists during this stretch are third-best in the NBA, and he recently became the second player in NBA history to post a triple-double at age 40 or older. Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan: 87 OVR (+1) brought his career average of 21.3 points per game to his new team and kept it consistent in his first 41 games. DeRozan’s uptick of 25.1 points per game over the last two weeks helped the Kings win seven of their last 10 games. Meanwhile, selected by the Heat with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Miami Heat rookie Kel’el Ware: 80 OVR (+6) saw a 6 point score increase due to his recent performances, starting in four consecutive games and averaging 13.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game over the last two weeks.
