New Year brings new NBA 2K25 ratings

Ringing in the new year, 2K has released the latest NBA 2K25 player ratings. The future of the power forward and center position is shaping up to be historic as stars such as Victor Wembanyama: 95 OVR (+3), Evan Mobley: 8 OVR (+1) and Jaren Jackson Jr.: 89 OVR (+1) have been pulling out all the stops and performing phenomenally on the court.

San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama: 95 OVR (+3) is truly a superstar in the making. In Wemby’s first 100 games, he has become the fastest player in NBA history to reach 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 150 blocks. And his reign has shown no sign of stopping any time soon, over his past five games, Wemby has averaged 23 points, 14.8 rebounds and 4 blocks.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have started the season off great, with forward-center, Evan Mobley: 8 OVR (+1), continuing to shine under head coach Kenny Atkinson’s lead, averaging 22.6 points and 8.4 rebounds over his past 5 games. Walking on over to Memphis, former Defensive Player of the Year and Grizzlies forward-center Jaren Jackson Jr.: 89 OVR (+1) has been performing exceptionally well with his own career-high of 22.7 average points per game this season.
