A curse is coming to Monster Hunter Now

Stay vigilant, hunters! Today Niantic announced that a new season of Monster Hunter Now is on the horizon. As autumn approaches, players can dive into Season 3: Curse of the Wandering Flames! Starting on September 11 at 6PM PDT, hunters can participate in the major autumn update arriving alongside Monster Hunter Now’s first anniversary, featuring brand-new storylines, quests and special events for hunters to enjoy.

As part of the new season, notable additions include:

• Cooking as a new feature where hunters can hone their skills and whip up the perfect steak to activate unique effects
• The debut of three additional monsters, including Magnamalo, Rajang and Aknosom
• The Heavy Bowgun, a new weapon type for hunters to utilize to deal massive damage from a distance
