Heavily influenced by the rich musical traditions of Africa, the Tales of Kenzera: ZAU—Original Soundtrack combines orchestra, electronics, African traditional instrumentation, as well as soaring vocalizations that convey the grief and ultimate joy unfolding in the game. The orchestral recordings took place at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, as well as Vienna Austria, bringing together 120 musicians, studios and music teams – resulting in a sonic richness and cultural authenticity to the game’s score. Nainita’s global approach towards the game’s score spotlighted artists from South Africa, West Africa and more, in addition to featuring a choir that previously contributed to the iconic Black Panther soundtrack, creating a culturally rich musical experience. | |
