Sonic the Hedgehog DLC

If the release of the Sonic DLC sped past you in June, then take a breath, tie those laces, and get ready because there is plenty to dive into with this expansive update. From the creative masterminds at Gamemode One and SEGA, this update brings back the Labyrinth Zone, a level from the 1991 game that taught me a) exploring ruins is awesome and b) don’t trust gargoyles. Armed with a new mission, you’ll have to dodge obstacles and navigate traps as you try and stop the Master Emerald from falling into nefarious hands! And if that’s not motivation enough for you, then should I mention the new character skins? That’s right, on top of the 24 existing skins, there’ll be five brand new ones! No, I’m not going to spoil the surprise but yes, I promise you will love them!

For fellow film lovers counting down to the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, you can also claim your very own Knuckles T-shirt in the Character Creator for a limited time! Why not wear it while you hunt for the most delectable of collectibles: easter eggs. Gamemode One have hidden little treats all over the in-game world for you to discover, and they told me where all of them are! I’m just kidding, I can’t be trusted with that kind of power. Because as Sonic himself said: with great power comes power-hungry bad guys. And given I run screaming from creepers and Eggrobos alike, that doesn’t bode well for me…

If you bought the Sonic the Hedgehog DLC in June, then all this sparkly new content is going to get added to your game as a free update!
