From Studio Wildcard:

The end of 2021 has delivered lots of wonderful gifts for the Survivors in ARK: Survival Evolved. Today ARK’s newest official community map “Lost Island” launches as a free DLC for PC and console players, featuring three new creatures: Amargasaurus, Sinomacrops, and fan-chosen Dinopithecus!

Also launching today is the sixth annual Winter Wonderland event delivering new presents and goodies for ARK Survivors! The epic winter-themed holiday event begins today and will last until Thursday, January 6.

Explore the soaring heights and hidden depths of Lost Island, with 150 sq km of new biomes, new challenges, and mysterious ruins. Discover jungle valleys fed by giant waterfalls, build a treehouse high in the forest canopies, get down and dirty in vast mangrove swamps, dive deep underwater, brave treacherous snowy peaks, or spelunk uncharted cave systems in search of treasure.

Lost Island features three new creatures: unleash thermal hell from atop your Amargasaurus, glide into battle with Sinomacrops at your back, or treat your enemies to a shower of Tek-disabling Dinopithecus dung!

RaptorClaus will be sailing across the star-filled night sky in his sleigh, dropping off presents filled with high-end loot as well as Mistletoe, and Coal for those naughty Survivors. Catch RaptorClaus flying across the skies at midnight (in-game time) on all maps. GachaClaus has also returned, looking for eager recipients, accepting coal and mistletoe in exchange for holiday-themed gifts such as a full-body Santa costume, new skins, weapons, armor, or 5 new Chibis! New Chibis include Sinomacrops, Dinopithecus, Amargasaurus, a Festive Noglin, and an Animated TV-themed Raptor Chibi! Speaking of the ARK: The Animated Series, log in today to claim a free Animated TV-themed Parasaur Skin.

But we’re not done! Coming in 2022 look for more themed events in ARK, such as February's "Love Evolved" fest, April’s “Eggcellent Adventure”, and in June the highly anticipated Nordic-inspired mod community map, Fjordur, as well as news about ARK II and ARK: The Animated Series.
