Celebrating Forza Horizon 5 with F1 Driver, Sergio Pérez – Coming November 26

To celebrate Forza Horizon 5 being available now on Xbox Game Pass, we partnered with Mexico native and F1 driver Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez to create a new challenge showcasing Forza Horizon 5’s Mexico in a variety of supercars and rugged off-road vehicles.

Never afraid to take on a new track and have a bit of fun, Pérez partnered with us to develop a one-of-a-kind, piñata-inspired track IRL in a desert in Mexico in addition to bringing it to life in Forza Horizon 5 for fans to play in-game. Piñatas have been part of the Mexican culture for a long time. So full of life, colour, passion and happiness. They are a symbol of tradition, they represent moments of celebration with family and friends. We wanted bring this to life and celebrate the Mexican Culture by doing something fun that fans all over the world can enjoy.

As part of Super7, a game mode that celebrates community-created challenges, fans will get the chance to try the festive challenge and see if they can match Pérez’s smooth driving style, unmatched speed and impressive race strategy. Stay tuned to @ForzaHorizon for more details.

What’s Next for Forza Horizon 5

While players embark on their journey through the Mexico open world, Forza Horizon 5 will continue to evolve in the months ahead through our regular seasonal content which starts in the coming days. New races, objectives and rewards are brought together every week in the Festival Playlist with Series 1 Update beginning on Thursday, November 11.

The open world environments of Mexico will also change with each Forza Horizon 5 update. With the holidays fast approaching, be on the lookout for snowpeople, presents and other decorative surprises in December’s Series 2 Update. There’s plenty of fun new content and experiences in the works that the Forza team can’t wait to share with players, so stay tuned.
