Snowy Escape is the 10th expansion pack for The Sims 4, and it brings players to the wintery world of Mt. Komorebi, a new destination for Sims looking for their dream vacation or new home. The Sims 4 Snowy Escape offers the perfect getaway for all Sims, whether they’re looking for an adrenaline rush with thrilling winter sports and mountain excursions, or trying to find their zen via mindful walks or trips to the hot springs. Mt. Komorebi is a new, Japanese-inspired world and the first world to introduce both residential and vacation lots. The expansion packs also adds new traditional and modern furniture and decor for players to build their own sanctuary, including shoji doors, windows and screens, tatami mats and paper lanterns. Simmers can add extra touches to create an oasis, like koi for decorative fountains and a rock garden under the shade of Japanese maple trees. For players who want to chase their thrills, Snowy Escape offers exciting winter activities, from skiing, snowboarding and sledding, to extreme rock climbing up to the mountain’s treacherous peak. For those who want to unwind, Sims can relax in the natural onsen hot springs, embark on meditative hikes in the bamboo forests and replenish themselves with a meal from the kotatsu hot pot. In Snowy Escape, players will also have the ability to add more depth to gameplay through the introduction of Lifestyles and Sentiments. Up to 16 Lifestyles will manifest in response to a Sim’s actions and habits, having more of an effect than a Create-a-Sim trait as it will reflect lived experiences. Sentiments will represent how two Sims may come away from a shared experience feeling differently than one another, and will have a lasting impact on Sim’s relationships and social interactions. | |
