The Championship final between Dallas Empire and Atlanta FaZe reached a peak viewership of over 330K viewers, becoming the most-watched match in Call of Duty esports history.
Fans from around the world watched the inaugural season come to a thrilling end across the Call of Duty League and Call of Duty franchise YouTube channels, as well as alongside influencers co-streaming the Championship match on their own YouTube channels.
The Dallas Empire (ranked 2nd in the regular season) becomes the first championship team in the history of the Call of Duty League, dominating a best-of-9 series 5-1 versus Atlanta FaZe (ranked 1st in the regular season)!
Aside from bragging rights as the FIRST EVER Call of Duty League Champion, the Dallas Empire earned possession of the CDL Trophy until the 2021 season, a CDL Championship Throne, and a $1.5 million prize.
