Today, 2K released the results of the #2KSim Conference Finals, which has been simulating the rest of the 2019-20 NBA season and playoffs since the league went on hiatus March 11. In the Conference Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the rival LA Clippers in the Western Conference, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference, both advancing to the #2KSim NBA Finals.
NBA 2K20 cover star Anthony Davis shared his thoughts on his team’s #2KSim performance: “It’s great to see the Lakers dominating in the #2KSim Playoffs, and the Bucks are definitely a team we may see in the Finals one day. It would be great to be here in real life but for now, I love that 2K is giving fans a way to follow their teams on the virtual court.”
NBA 2K19 cover star Giannis Antetokounmpo also gave some insight on his team’s #2KSim performance:
“This has been a fun way to keep the momentum going, and it’s exciting for our fans that the Bucks made it to the #2KSim NBA Finals. We all miss basketball and are doing our part in hopes to play again soon, but in the meantime, I can’t wait to see what happens against the Lakers next week!”
