In celebration of our amazing fans, we bring you an all-new, battle royale inspired racing game mode, The Eliminator, coming to Forza Horizon 4 today at 10:00 a.m. PT for free in the Series 17 update. The Eliminator invites up to 72 players to face off within an arena set in the open world of Britain, eliminating one another in head-to-head races to earn new upgrades and a chance to pick up faster cars. Arena walls contract throughout the game, forcing players closer together until a final white-knuckle race among the survivors determines the winner.

All contenders start in a 1965 Mini Cooper, however, in order to win The Eliminator you must scour the beautiful open world of Britain in search of Car Drops, which offer an instant upgrade, or to challenge other drivers to a head-to-head race. Once challenged there is no backing down as the game selects a finish line and both drivers must race to try and get there first. The loser is eliminated from the game and the winner is given a choice: upgrade their car to a more powerful one or steal their opponent’s car.

You might choose to hide until the end but be careful as the arena walls move fast! Get stuck outside and you will be eliminated. If you manage to survive until the arena reaches its final size, the final showdown begins and all surviving players must race to the finish line. The first driver there is declared The Eliminator.

The Eliminator launches with its own mini-campaign and rewards for players to unlock including the exclusive 2008 Renault Mégane R26.R, the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Pre-Order Edition, and the 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator, as well as The Eliminator-branded character clothing.
