New Co-op Commander: Arcturus Mengsk As the leader of the Sons of Korhal, Arcturus Mengsk radiates an intimidating, tyrannical atmosphere to enforce his will with total impunity. As a Co-op Commander, Mengsk uses conscripted laborers and troopers to put immediate pressure on his enemies and cement his power in the early game. With an army of expendable troopers that drop their weapon upon death, another trooper will pick it up and resume Mengsk’s inexorable march toward victory. Instead of energy, Mengsk uses a resource called Imperial Mandate, which you generate by training and ranking up the Royal Guard. As his Imperial Mandate grows, Mengsk gets access to even more powerful and controversial abilities. Jump into StarCraft II today to try your hand at controlling Mengsk’s massive armies of loyal followers. New Co-op Difficulty: Brutal + Co-op players will be able to experience increased difficulty beyond the current Hard and Brutal settings. While playing on Brutal+, Amon will gain the benefit of several mutators, each increasing the game’s difficulty in a unique way. You’ll be able to pair up with a friend and choose from 6 different levels of Brutal+, each more punishing (and rewarding) than the last. Brutal+ will also randomly generate a set of mutators to create a Mutation Challenge for players. If successful, you’ll be rewarded with bonus experience. Are you ready to test your mettle in Brutal +? | |
