The Fortnite Battle Royale mode is a 100-player PvP mode that drops players into a giant map, where they'll use their building and combat skills to be the last one standing. Today's update also brings with it the addition of squad play, two new weapons, and additional tweaks to Fortnite Battle Royale. This update, along with details about future updates, was detailed in a blog post by the development team last week. To play, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players can find a free Fortnite Battle Royale offer on those platform's digital stores; PC and Mac players can sign up and download for free at www.fortnite.com. Fortnite's PvE "Save the World" mode remains in paid Early Access, with Founder's Packs still available for purchase. It will go free in 2018. | |
