From CD Projekt Red:
Gwent

In Gwent, gamers clash with their friends in fast-paced duels that combine bluffing, on-the-fly decision making and careful deck construction. The game is played over a best-of-three series of rounds, as players unleash their hand by slinging spells and diverse units with special abilities and use clever tricks to deceive their opponents.

CD PROJEKT RED will present Gwent: The Witcher Card Game to gamescom visitors in the Entertainment Area (hall 8, booth B-053; August 17-21) and in the Business Area (hall 2.1, booth A-021; August 17-19).

"Gwentwas made because of the amazing effort of The Gwent community -- we've received tons and tons of messages to make a standalone version happen and now we finally have the chance to show Gwent to the public for the first time!" said Marcin Momot, Senior Social Media and Community Coordinator. "Gamescom is one of those special events that allows us to thank gamers for their support in person. So we'd love to have a chat with you in Cologne, hear your thoughts about Gwent and get direct feedback on how the game plays for you," Momot adds.
