Making full use of the new-gen consoles Trial functionality, gamers can play through the opening chapters of both Metro Redux games. Should they wish to upgrade to the full version, they can transfer their saved games and continue their progress seamlessly. The Metro 2033 Redux Trial includes the first eight Chapters up to Dead City. The Metro: Last Light Redux Trial includes nine Chapters up to Theatre. In each case, the Trial version represents about one-third of the total game. Metro Redux contains all of the Metro franchise content ever released in one ultimate package. We have already been humbled by the success of Metro Redux on the new consoles, said Dean Sharpe, CEO at 4A Games. With these trials, we want to give everyone the chance to experience the unique world and the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of Metro. We were inspired by the original shareware release of Doom, and decided to give away as much of the game as we could. | |
