[22] Ghosts and Grim Reapers
Ghosts scare the living daylights out of people. The Grim Reaper will take the
souls of those who pass on and turn them into ghosts. Are you ready for what
haunts you below? Are you ready to witness the horrors of the undertaker?

[22.01] Ghosts
Ghosts will appear when a Sim dies and leaves behind a tombstone. If they die
outside, it will be a tombstone, if they die inside, they will leave an urn.
You can move the tombstone or urn elsewhere but that will make the ghost angry
and pissed. If they die with an Aspiration Meter of Gold or higher, it will
display their Level of Aspiration (example: Future Financer). They living Sims
will mourn the death of the other Sim and it is more of a regular thing to do
within the first few days of death.
Ghosts will do a variety of things when they materialize from 12:00am to
7:00am.
* Turn on stereos, computers and TV's and leave them on for you to see
* Cause flowers to wilt and die
* Make dining chairs float, even if a Sim is on one
* Make the toy xylophone play by itself
* Cause the Incision Precision dummy to float
* Fill a tub with water, might make it dirty so you have to clean it
* Cause teddy bear's head to spin around
* Break a lamp
* Scare a Sim
* Kill a Sim (read above)
The ghost has a mood, just like your own Sim except it is about its needs, it
is about its feelings. If the partner of the ghost got married, that would
piss the ghost off. If the Sim starved to death and the fridge is empty, that
would piss the Sim off. If you move out, the ghost will be piss at the new
Sims as tombstones and urns can't be taken. If the tombstone or urn of the
ghost is kicked or smashed by a child or teenager, that will really make the
ghost mad.
There are things you can do to halt the ghost of being pissed off. Don't
make the ghost's partner find another partner, don't make your Sims kick it
so block access to it or you could just sell the stupid tombstone or urn. That
will make the ghost go away completely.

[22.02] Ghost Colours
Your ghost will have a colour, depending on how it died.
Disease - Green
Drowning - Blue and will leave puddles
Fire / Burn - Red and smoking
Flies - Purple
Electrocution - Yellow, will throw sparks as might electrocute itself
Old Age - White
Satellite - Orange
Scared to Death - Pink
Starvation - Transparent and will empty your food stores

[22.03] Pleading with the Grim Reaper
The Grim Reaper is the only way to bring back a Sim who has died from an
unnatural cause (means old age Sims can't be brought back). The Grim Reaper
will come when your Sim dies and everyone is crying over the dead Sim. The
Grim Reaper will hold a clipboard and look through the pages and nod his head.
Then using his scythe, will collect a blue circle, the dead Sim's life. Then
if you plead with the Grim Reaper (click on him and click plead), will Sim
who pleads will go down on it's knees, and begs for the life of the Sim back.
The Grim Reaper will show his two skeletal hands, and show one with the Sim's
life and one empty. To get the right one, your Sim will have to have at least
a combined relationship of 25 (daily plus lifetime) to plead and the maximum
score is 90, so you always have a 10% chance of failing.
When the hands go behind his back, the Grim Reaper will choose a number in the
background. If the Grim Reaper chooses a number lower than your Relationship
score, then the Grim Reaper will bow his head in shame as he reveals the hand
with the life in it. Your Sims will cheer. If you choose the wrong one, the
Sims will be unhappy and you lose that Sim forever. The Grim Reaper will talk
on his phone and then they will be gone forever.
Seriously, on a mental note, for a guy who loves taking others into his
favourite domain, he is technological advanced. A nice blue cell phone matches
him and pen and paper are like the most basic thing for him. For a guy who
lives in hell, his a nice guy. Rumor has it that one of the pre made Sims had
a WooHoo and even a baby with this mysterious person. Maybe he is a Sim that
is human and can reproduce. Or maybe not ...
