*Drive Through Clerk*
*********************
It's late, and ____ is working the drive-through all by his lonesome - lots of
responsibility for little pay. Suddenly, the otherwise quiet night is ruined
when local rich kid Mimi Landgrabb and some of her hoodlum friends pull up
( ____ recognizes them by the indecent language coming through the tiny
speaker.) From what he's heard from other employees, _____ is pretty sure
they're going to drive off without paying. Should he fill out the order, or
should he treat them to a bit of their own medicine?
"Fries with that?"
Although he's surely tempted, ____'s never been one for pranks - especially
when they might cost him a job. Even though it will probably come out of his
salary, he fills the order and hands it off to Mimi. Much to ____'s surprise,
Mimi winks at him and hands him 200 Simoleons. "Keep the change, cutie." The
car speeds away, and ____ can't help and smile at his profitable turn of
events. (Did she call him a cutie?) ____ pockets §150.
"Teach them a lesson!"

The movie theater down the street just let out and ____'s restaurant is
PACKED. (One might think they'd be full after those absurdly sized movie
drinks, but no such luck.) He's barking orders left and right when suddenly
the unthinkable happens: the Uberburger 3000 breaks down in an entirely
ungraceful puff of smoke. Now the restaurant smells like charcoal and there
isn't a burger in sight. Should he try to keep going without the Uberburger,
or take the repair into his own hands?
"Who needs burgers?"
_____ sees the throngs of customers and knows that there's profit to be had.
He instructs his staff to deep-fry the hamburger patties instead of sending
them through the Uberburger. Unfortunately, this backfires and breaks the
Frency fry fryers as well. Now the entire kitchen is filled with acrid smoke
and an undeniable stench. The customers back out of the restaurant in horror,
and the incompetence of the staff makes the local news. _____'s furious boss
docks §500 for the repair of BOTH machines from _____'s modest paycheck.
"Who needs burgers?"
Who needs burgers anyway? While his staff out front is explaining the
situation, _____ makes an emergency run and begins preparing some of his
ultra-secret-recipe VeggieMight burgers. he ravenous hordes of customers are
so hungry that they'll try anything - but once they've tried his "burgers",
they just can't get enough! When _____'s manager Jennie arrives and sees
hundreds of happy customers, it's clear to her that _____'s true calling is in
the kitchen. _____ gains 1 Cooking Point and 1 Charisma point for the
VeggieMight sensation.
"Roll up those sleeves!"
Eager to be a hero, _____ digs up a greasy screwdriver and rolls up his
sleeves. "It's probably just a patty jammed somewhere," he thinks to himself.
Recklessly, _____ unscrews a panel despite the large "Caution" display on
the front. As soon as the panel is removed, a small piece of machinery springs
out and bounces around the kitchen, eventually hitting the fry cook in the
head and injuring him before falling into the fryer. _____'s irresponsible
disregard for safety precautions costs him a demotion to Fast Food Order Taker
and a Logic skill point.

That trail of fainting girls outside can only mean one thing - swoonworthy
teen heartthrob Simon Simmy has arrived at ____'s restaurant! ____ has been
granted the dubious honor of serving Simmy, and the picky star is sure keeping
her hands full. He's currently demanding an expensive brand of water -
"Vapour" - that's only sold at one place in all of SimCity. Since the cooks
are busy, it's up to ____ to retrieve it. Should she make the run and give up
her tips at the other tables she's working, or should she secretly substitute
tap water for Simon's fancy water?
"Play Fetch"
____'s a little infatuated with Simon - although she's never admitted it to
anyone - so she's glad to run out into the night for him. There's no line at
the beverage shop, so she's in and out and is back at the restaurant within 15
minutes. Simon can immediately tell the difference - he winks at ____ through
his long blond (and remarkably effeminate) hair. At the end of the evening,
Simon stops to chat with ____ a bit, and when he discovers that she's trying
to break into cooking, he generously offers to set her up at one of his new
restaurants in the city. ____ is promoted to Prep Cook!
"Try Tap"

A local society dame has contracted with _____'s restaurant to cater her
daughter's wedding to a local wealthy businessman. This overly extravagant
affair promptly causes headaches for the entire staff: the demands range from
the silly (500 miniature swans made entirely of coconut paste) to the
impossible ("Can you get powder blue lettuce greens for the salads?"). The
sous chef is so busy taking care of the demands that he leaves the decision
about the soup ("surprise us!") entirely up to _____. Should she make Italian
wedding soup or the less traditional Louisiana Gumbo?
"Italian Wedding"
"Louisiana Gumbo"
Cajun cooking holds a special place in _____'s heart so she decides to favor
her own taste and whip up a large batch of fresh Louisiana Gumbo. She throws
in everything but the kitchen sink: there's more aquatic life in that soup
than the average aquarium! But _____ is so busy with preparations that she
doesn't remember the problems that local seafood restaurants in the area are
having with sick patrons. When the gumbo is unveiled to the hungry throngs at
the wedding, they greedily consume it - and it's only a short while before the
groom gets sick on the bride's shoes during their first dance. It's a
full-blown disaster, and several guests are sent to the hospital. _____ ends
up taking the fall for her grievous gumbo, losing her job and a cooking point
to boot.

*Executive Chef*

____ has become quite the talk of the town lately - his latest menu has been
praised as "a gift from the heavens" and "a miraculous delight." Its not long
before entrepreneurial spirits begin to approach him with seeming lucrative
endorsement deals. Two of them stand out from the rest - one investor offers
to put his name on a new brand of indestructible sporks, while another
proposes a branded line of combination food processor/fax machines for the
busy household. Which absurd kitchen implement will ____ endorse?
"Sporks of Steel"
"Blend n' Send"
____ signs on the dotted line and stamps his name on the "Groundbreaking"
Blend n' Send. He's so sure of success that he even pledges 20,000 Simoleons
to the cause. Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell ____ that fax machines
and food processors belong in two entirely seperate rooms. The industry is
baffled at this display of complete marketing ineptitude, and consumers are
completely indifferent to the product. Dejected and embarrassed, ____ demends
that the company remove his name from the product. ____ loses his §20,000
investment and two logic points for his lack of foresight.
