In Short
Zeku is a unique fighter that can changes his style during a match and has moves similar to Guy, Yun, and Yang.

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter V will come with a second season of extra characters for 2017. The character lineup for this season is Akuma and some brand new fighters including Kolin, Ed, Abigail, Menat and Zeku. All characters are obtainable by purchasing the second season pass or using fight money (or zenny) to buy the characters from the in-game shop. All characters come with a premium outfit and they come with all available colors for their default and premium outfit.

Zeku first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2 as a non-playable character. He is the mentor of Guy and goes out on his own in a journey of self-discovery after being succeeded by his pupil. Zeku takes on the form of both his young and older self. The question is which one is accurate? He has long white (or brown hair) with fringes that cover his eyes. He wears a yellow and green vest with a dragon on it and has a dark blue ninja garb underneath. His younger self is very much a resemblance to Hiryu from Strider ' he even has the long red scarf in his young appearance.

Zeku is a like mix-up of Guy, Yun, Yang and Gen. The main similarity to Gen is that he can change fighting styles by switching between his older and younger self. In his old persona, he has several styles of blade kicks (horizontal, diagonal and an upward kick). He also has a jump flip that can end in an elbow, blade kick or a grab. From his younger self or older self, players can switch between both styles at any time using a command. His younger self is has similarities to Guy, Yun and Yang. He has a run that can end in a sliding kick, jumping blade kick or a sudden stop. He has a strong palm attack and he also has a shoulder attack.

Zeku's V-trigger is an attack that will instantly make him change styles if the attack connects. His V-skill allows him to enter a period where you can push the V-skill buttons again to perform a dash followed by a unique set of attacks. His V abilities are not all that spectacular, but he sure makes up for them with everything else he has.

His critical art is similar to a MvC type of hyper combo. He will knock his opponent into the air and perform several jump kicks on them while they are in the air, all before knocking them back to the ground. Zeku has a lot of flash and move variety to him so just watching a player play as him normally is a pleasure. Fans of Guy and Yun and Yang will have the most fun with this character since he shares moves with all of them. He is definitely one of the more unique and fun fighters with the second season of characters for Street Fighter V.
