Beverly, MA (December 2, 2003) - Atari today announced the release of Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective for the Game Boy Advance.

From the licensors of Dragon Ball(r) and Dragon Ball Z(r), Yu Yu Hakusho: Spirit Detective(tm) is based on one of the top-rated TV series for males 9-14 and can be viewed on the Cartoon Network.

The Yu Yu Hakusho(tm) franchise has already established itself as a hit in Japan, with approximately $273 million in life-to-date video game retail sales. According to Japanese magazine Brutus, the series is the sixth-best anime of all time. In addition to the animated series, the brand is supported in the U.S. by home video, as well as licensees in trading cards, action figures, apparel, and more.
