Enclave is a third-person 3D action game set in a fantasy environment, where
a rift has formed, separating the lands of light and the plains of darkness by
an impassable chasm. Over time, the Enclave of light has grown strong and
prosperous, while those confined to the war-ravaged plains of the Dark outlands
harbored nothing but hatred and jealousy. Now, after hundreds of years, the rift
is closing, and it's only a matter of time before a full-scale war erupts. In
the game, players can choose to take on the role of either an agent of Light or
Darkness, with separate, unique missions reflecting the nature of that decision.
Several changes have been made to the PC and GameCube versions of Enclave,
based on feedback from those who played the Xbox version. The game's control
system has been tightened up for the GameCube, while the mouse and keyboard
implementation on the PC gives gamers a much better feel for their character's
motions and movements. A new save system has been implemented, which allows
gamer's to save their progress at any point in a level. Additionally, both Light
and Dark missions are now available for play from the beginning of the game.
Enclave will be released for Xbox and GameCube in early Spring 2003.
