“Fire Warrior is our first game set in the dark and futuristic fantasy world
of Warhammer 40,000 and we are extremely excited to be collaborating with Games
Workshop on this world-renowned property,“ stated Tim Walsh, senior vice
president of International publishing. “Fire Warrior is more than a first-person
action game, it is an intense experience that plunges the player into a
terrifying world beyond their worst nightmares.”
“We are extremely impressed with this, our first game with THQ. THQ has
really captured the dark and brooding atmosphere of the 41st Millennium, while
making an eminently playable and accessible game,” said Jon Gillard, Head of
Business Development, Games Workshop. “We feel it will be a great introduction
for those that are unfamiliar with our worlds, and a fantastic experience of
immersion for those already involving themselves through our other products.”
