New York, NY (November 2, 2004) - Major League Gaming (MLG) announced
today that it has partnered with ESPN Cold Pizza and Microsoft Game Studios to
offer fans an opportunity to play Halo 2 before its retail release on November
9.
From MLG:
On November 4, 50 lucky winners will be invited to ESPN Zone in New York
City’s Times Square, where they will have a chance to experience the multiplayer
combat of Halo 2 with some of the best MLG professional players in the world.
“We are delighted to join with ESPN Cold Pizza and Microsoft Game Studios and be
first to offer Halo 2 to competitive gamers,” said Michael Sepso, chief
executive officer of MLG. “We are thrilled Halo 2 will be part of the 2005 MLG
Season and look forward to receiving a preview of that excitement live on Cold
Pizza.”
More than 7,000 people entered the promotion for a chance to play Halo 2 before
it hits store shelves on November 9.
