New York, NY (November 1, 2004) - The Sacramento Kings, behind NBA
Finals MVP Chris Webber, defeated the Miami Heat in six games to capture the
2005 NBA Finals, in an Electronic Arts NBA LIVE 2005 videogame simulation of the
entire 2004-05 NBA season.

The NBA LIVE 2005 simulation offers complete standings and statistics for
both the NBA regular-season and 2005 NBA Playoffs. Basketball New Year tips off
tomorrow night with Premiere Week, November 2-8.
The Kings reached The Finals after defeating the Denver Nuggets in the Western
Conference Finals in six games. In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Heat
defeated the defending NBA Champion Detroit Pistons in seven games to advance.
During the regular season, the Heat’s Shaquille O’Neal received the NBA MVP
award after leading the league in scoring with 28.3 ppg and grabbing 14.2 rpg,
second only to the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Kevin Garnett (14.7 rpg). The
Philadelphia 76ers Allen Iverson (25.3 ppg), and the San Antonio Spurs Tim
Duncan (24.7 ppg) finished second and third in scoring behind O’Neal and the New
Jersey Nets Jason Kidd (8.0 apg) led the league in assists.
