Video Gaming News - November 2002
Redwood City, CA (November 12, 2002) - Electronic Arts, the world's
leading interactive entertainment software company, announced today that it has
shipped Shox for the PlayStation 2.
From EA:
Jumping into one of 24 licensed high voltage vehicles from Porsche®, BMW®,
Subaru®, Toyota™, Ford™, and other manufacturers, players race through three-lap
circuits on dirt, snow, and asphalt. Sliding through dusty roads, slipping on
ice, and shredding through tree-lined dirt trails, it's crowded on the open
road, as six competing cars try to muscle into prime position, wreaking havoc
along the way. Additionally, up to 4 players can compete for top rankings in a
multiplayer split-screen mode.
Shox for the PlayStation®2 carries an "E"(Everyone) rating from the ESRB and
is priced at US MSRP $49.99. Shox was developed by Electronic Arts UK.
