Entertainment America Inc. announced today the release of ATV Offroad Fury 2
exclusively for the PlayStation2.

of its predecessor to present an even more, in-depth racing experience with all

gameplay competition with the online mode, allowing multi-player racing to reach
new heights on PlayStation 2."

Following in the footsteps of the original, ATV Offroad Fury 2 provides
intense, free-roaming offroad racing gameplay, packed with additional courses,
large environments, extra modes, mini-games, ATVs and all-new online gameplay
via the Network Adaptor (Ethernet/Modem) (for PlayStation 2) for an immersive
racing experience.
ATV Offroad Fury 2, developed by Rainbow Studios and produced by Sony
Computer Entertainment America, San Diego development studios, is the first
online racing title for PlayStation 2 and supports up to four players per game
via a broadband or dial-up connection. Through both on- and offline gameplay,
players will be able to tear it up anywhere and blaze their own trail, choosing
from more than 20 ATVs including licensed models from various manufacturers. In
addition, every featured ATV is realistically modeled, allowing for realistic
handling and reaction in extreme weather and terrain such as mud, ice, snow and
sand.
Playable from both first- and third-person perspectives, ATV Offroad Fury 2
offers players the ability to race in 40 massive environments through six event
types, as well as compete in exciting new mini-games including Tag, Hockey, King
of the Hills and Treasure Hunt. The six event types include: Enduro courses,
Nationals courses, Supercross courses, Freestyle courses, Short Tracks and a
Training course.
ATV Offroad Fury 2 features six race modes including: Practice, Freeride, Lap
Attack, Single Race, Championships and Duel. For all modes, players can
customize their rider with their own name and number, clothing, helmet, boots,
etc. In addition, players can create their own race within an Enduro
environment. An all-new soundtrack is available encompassing guitar-rock,
hip-hop and electronica, featuring top bands including Garbage, Korn, Filter,
Cypress Hill, Alien Ant Farm, System of a Down and many more. Via an in-game
jukebox, players will have the ability to not only identify the songs they are
listening to but also choose the songs they want to hear.
