San Francisco, CA (November 7, 2002) - Ubi Soft Entertainment
announced today that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy has gone gold. Making
its debut on Nintendo GameBoy Advance, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy
features a new original story written exclusively for the console. The game also
features a new, quasi-3D view, 3D animations, and an improved combat system
specific for the GameBoy Advance. Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy is
scheduled to release November 12.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy showcases a combat system customized for
the GameBoy Advance, which highlights the 3D-type gameplay that made the Tomb
Raider series a tremendous success. Starring gaming's sexiest leading heroine,
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: The Prophecy features spectacular animations for Lara
and its enemies. Additionally, the game also features real time character
shadows -- Lara's shadow will be actively generated in real time. Other game
features include:
- Secret Areas: levels will feature numerous secret areas to discover,
hidden passages, shortcuts, etc
- Big Enemies: Lara will face menacing enemies, including both humans and
creatures during her quest
- Advance Audio Engine: Ambient sounds make each environment unique, dynamic
audio (roll-off) effect system will immerse players into the environment, and
contextual music highlight dangerous/topic situations
- Special FX: dynamic lighting system and transparencies
