Video Gaming News - October 2003
Redwood City, CA (October 14, 2003) - EA today announced that NBA Live
2004 is available for Xbox, GameCube, and PS2.
From EA:
NBA LIVE 2004 features four-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter of the Toronto
Raptors as its cover athlete and delivers the Freestyle Revolution through
expanded EA SPORTS Freestyle Control, which allows for signature moves, mid-air
passing, control over players away from the ball, and much more. Whether running
the point with one-button Quick Plays, spinning free in the lane for a vicious
dunk, or locking down with stiff new defensive options, NBA LIVE 2004 features
realistic gameplay, which is even further enhanced this year with 10-man motion
capture, a first for sports games.
NBA LIVE 2004 also features a dramatically enhanced Dynasty Mode, all-new
commentary from Marv Albert and Mike Fratello, and online play through EA
SPORTS Nation, the comprehensive new PlayStation®2 console gaming destination
for EA SPORTS titles which offers downloadable roster updates, rankings,
matchmaking between two or more players, tournaments, instant messaging, and
hands-free chat via USB headset (Internet and broadband connection required).
Developed by Electronic Arts Canada, NBA LIVE 2004 is available on the
PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Xbox video game system, and
Nintendo GameCube. PC-CD will be available November 11th. NBA LIVE 2004 is
rated "E" (Everyone) by the ESRB. The game’s official website is
www.nbalive2004.com.
