Redwood City, CA (October 14, 2002) - Lynne Music today announced the imminent release of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - Original Soundtrack, a 65-minute CD of music from the videogame, composed by interactive composer Jesper Kyd and performed by 110 musicians of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Choir.

The soundtrack CD is set for release 31st October, with pre-orders being accepted from www.lynnemusic.com/hitman2.html. As of Monday 14 October, the first 100 customers that pre-order will get limited-edition copies personally autographed by composer Jesper Kyd.

"I have known and admired Jesper's work for more than 10 years, and I'm proud to have been able to be involved with the release of this awesome soundtrack CD", said LynneMusic label owner, Bjorn Lynne, himself a composer and publisher of game soundtracks who shares the same background as Jesper Kyd, both of them having started up in the creative underground movement known as the "Amiga demo scene" in the late 80's and early 90's.
