Redwood City, CA (October 14, 2002) - Lynne Music today announced the
imminent release of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - Original Soundtrack, a 65-minute
CD of music from the videogame, composed by interactive composer Jesper Kyd and
performed by 110 musicians of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra and Choir.
The soundtrack CD is set for release 31st October, with pre-orders being
accepted from
www.lynnemusic.com/hitman2.html. As of Monday 14 October, the first 100
customers that pre-order will get limited-edition copies personally autographed
by composer Jesper Kyd.
"I have known and admired Jesper's work for more than 10 years, and I'm proud to
have been able to be involved with the release of this awesome soundtrack CD",
said LynneMusic label owner, Bjorn Lynne, himself a composer and publisher of
game soundtracks who shares the same background as Jesper Kyd, both of them
having started up in the creative underground movement known as the "Amiga demo
scene" in the late 80's and early 90's.
Jesper Kyd has composed music for interactive game developers including Bioware,
Activision, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Eidos, Shiny and Sega. He is currently
working out of his own studio in Manhattan, New York.
