Video Gaming News - September 2003
Redwood City, CA (September 10, 2003) - EA today announced that LPGA
Tour Golfer Natalie Gulbis will appear in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004.
From EA:
For the first time an LPGA golfer will be part of the professional golfer
line up in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004 from EA SPORTS™ with the addition of
Natalie Gulbis. Gulbis, from Sacramento, Calif., is in her second year on the
LPGA TOUR and became the youngest golfer to qualify for an LPGA tournament at
age 14, before Michelle Wie broke that record last year. She also finished
second at the California State Women's Amateur in 1997.
Gulbis started playing golf at age four. As a freshman at the University of
Arizona she won three tournaments, earned All-America honors and made the cut at
the US Women's Open. This year she tied for 13th at the Open.
Scheduled to launch September 22, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004 will feature some
of the most prestigious PGA TOUR courses, including Pebble Beach Golf Links®, St
Andrews Golf Links, and Bethpage Black, and 15 of the best golfers on the PGA
TOUR. All new EA SPORTS Game Face allows you to build an incredibly detailed
version of yourself or anyone else to take on Tiger Woods and the other golfers
in the game. EA, continuing its exclusive partnership with the PGA TOUR and the
world's best and most famous golfer, Tiger Woods, delivers the most realistic
golf simulation for fans of PC as well as console golf on the PlayStation®2
computer entertainment system, Xbox™ video game system from Microsoft, Nintendo
GameCube™, and Game Boy® Advance.
