Calabasas, CA (August 25, 2005) - THQ today announced that two of
their wrestling games have been added to Nintendo's Players Choice collection
for GameCube and Sony's Greatest Hits collection for the PlayStation 2.

Both games are now available at retailers throughout North America for the
low price of $19.99. WWE Day of Reckoning originally launched in summer 2004,
while WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW launched in fall 2004.

wrestling titles that bring all of the action of the WWE to living rooms across
the world," said Peter Dille, senior vice president of worldwide marketing, THQ.
"The $19.99 price point will allow a greater number of wrestling fans the
opportunity to play the games while waiting patiently for the much-anticipated
follow-ups, WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2006 and WWE Day of Reckoning 2, scheduled to
release later this year."

About WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW
Developed by Yuke's Co., Ltd. of Japan, WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW brings wrestling
fans the next phenomenon in sports entertainment. Two worlds collide in this
game for the PlayStation 2 as the most elite WWE Superstars square off. WWE
SmackDown! Vs. RAW offers online for the first time in the SmackDown! franchise,
along with an enhanced Season Mode featuring Superstar voice over and
commentary. Several new Legends are also included in the game, including one of
the all-time greats, Andre the Giant. New gameplay mechanics heighten the
realism, including a chop-battle, pre-match stare down and a submission reversal
system. Players also have the ability to create a Championship belt and then put
it on the line against other gamers in a fully customizable Pay-Per-View event.
In addition, the enhanced Challenge Mode offers players the option to finish up
to 60 challenges across four skill levels: amateur, rising star, superstar and
legend. Fans can also re-create their favorite match in WWE history.

Developed by Yuke's Co., Ltd. of Japan, WWE Day of Reckoning features more than
40 WWE Superstars including John Cena, Eddie Guerrero and Randy Orton. New
features include an all-new story mode entitled, School of Hard Knocks, where
players start in the "minor leagues" of sports entertainment and take their
created Superstar up the ranks of the WWE. Throughout the story mode, players
will encounter several deceptive twists in their elusive quest for a WWE
contract and Superstar status. WWE Day of Reckoning also showcases several WWE
Legends, including Andre the Giant, Bret Hart and Roddy Piper, giving WWE Day of
Reckoning a massive stable of overall talent.
In addition, WWE Day of Reckoning features the ever-popular Bra & Panty match, a
first for a Nintendo GameCube product. In addition to Superstar entrances,
licensed music is featured throughout the game for the first time. An enhanced
grappling system with strong and weak grapples, location specific damage, unique
Superstar attributes and improved presentation all serve to make WWE Day of
Reckoning the deepest WWE title on Nintendo GameCube to date.
