Foster City, CA (July 9, 2004) - Sony today revealed the PlayStation characters that will be appearing in Hot Shots Golf Fore!

The PGA and LPGA seasons are in full swing (pun intended), and there are some familiar characters as well as new faces winning on the tours... Speaking of familiar characters and new faces, Hot Shots Golf(R) Fore!, the fourth installment of the extremely popular Hot Shots Golf franchise that has sold more than 7.5 million units worldwide, will launch this fall exclusively on PlayStation 2 with 30 off-the-wall characters including two faces/names you may be familiar with...

With that said, we are pleased to announce that a couple of your favorite PlayStation characters have qualified for the Hot Shots Golf Tour... Ladies and gentlemen, on the first tee, introducing from the popular Jak and Daxter franchise, Jak with Daxter as Caddy, and from the Ratchet & Clank franchise, Ratchet with Clank as Caddy. Developed by Clap Hanz in conjunction with Sony Computer Entertainment America’s Santa Monica Studios, Hot Shots Golf Fore! will challenge the skill levels of everyone from hackers to scratch golfers. With its intuitive controls and adjustable difficulty settings, breathtaking graphics, spectacular lighting effects, dramatic camera angles and true-to-life golf physics, Hot Shots Golf Fore! is sure to provide both fun and a challenge to golfers and of all ages. Playable up to four players in the various gameplay modes including, Tournament, Versus, and Training, with even more players available to tee it up in Online Mode, Hot Shots Golf Fore! features a variety of different 18-hole tracks and par threes.
