Redmond, WA (July 8, 2004) - Microsoft Game Studios today announced
the arrival of new downloadable content for Project Gotham Racing 2. The PGR 2
Long Beach Booster Pack is available for download via Xbox Live and offers eight
new tracks and eight new cars for $4.99.

Gamers who download the Long Beach Booster Pack will find themselves behind
the wheel of some of the hottest cars around, including the Ferrari 612
Scaglietti, Porsche 911 GT2 Clubsport and Subaru Impreza 22B STi while enjoying
the breathtaking scenery of the Long Beach, California area. Coastal courses,
aquarium tracks and the Long Beach Challenge will test gamers' racing mettle
while pushing them to max out Kudos points. Gamers can download the PGR 2 Long
Beach Booster Pack via Xbox Live starting today, July 8.
Project Gotham Racing 2 is the follow-up to the smash hit Project Gotham
Racing and offers circuit-based racing through highly detailed, photorealistic
urban environments. Racers can choose from more than 100 of the hottest cars
while navigating their way around 10 exciting cities, mastering corners and
accelerating through the straightaways before moving to a different venue.
Players also can race against up to seven friends at once using System Link or
match up against seven players online utilizing the Xbox Live service. Project
Gotham Racing 2 was developed by Bizarre Creations and is available now for an
