Video Gaming News - July 2003
Los Angeles, CA (July 1, 2003) - Vivendi Universal Games announced
today the in-game music line up for the upcoming action horror game, Hunter: The
Reckoning Wayward for the PlayStation 2.
From Vivendi Universal:
Hollywood Records recording artist Forty Foot Echo has contributed two songs
from its upcoming, self-titled album due out in stores this August. Gearing up
for their second release this fall, No One appears in-game courtesy of Immortal
Records, lending five songs from its self-titled album.
These songs can be accessed via the entertainment center located in Hunter
Headquarters, the game’s central hub. With a hotel room-inspired interface, this
innovative hub area allows players to review missions, choose the next level,
and select their Hunter(s) and special weapons. In addition to listening to
these hot bands on the entertainment center, players can view the game’s
cinematic movies, official trailers as well as a 3D model-viewer. Also in Hunter
Headquarters, players can enter the trophy room and retrieve important messages
on the computer via Hunter.net. After completing a level, Hunters are returned
to this safe haven to regroup and decide what path to take next.
Hunter: The Reckoning Wayward is based on the White Wolf Game Studio’s
Hunter: The Reckoning pen and paper role-playing game and will be available in
August 2003 on PlayStation®2 for a suggested retail price of $49.99 with an
expected ESRB “M” rating (Mature). For more information, log on to
