San Francisco, CA (June 20, 2005) - Sony announced today that on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 the second set of downloadable content titled "Gamma Pack 2" for the PlayStation Portable's Wipeout Pure will become available via the in-game Wi-Fi site or through Sony Computer Entertainment America's PC accessible site at www.WipeoutPure.com.

From Sony:

Wipeout Pure's "Gamma Pack 2" will contain two new tracks, the Extostra Run track and Ubermall track, as well as two fresh skins, the Qirex Skin and Auricom Skin.

The first set of downloadable content, "Gamma Pack 1," which contains the Staten Park track, Tigron racecraft and Pirhana team skin also will be re-released and should be re-downloaded for consistency. To note, it is not necessary to remove "Gamma Pack 1"from your Memory Stick as it will be overwritten when the updated "Gamma Pack 1" is downloaded.

To download "Gamma Pack 1" and "Gamma Pack 2", players can either access Wipeout Pure's Downloadable Content feature from their in-game menu via a HotSpot, or they can log onto www.WipePure.com, and download both Gamma Packs directly onto their PSP via USB cable.
