Redwood City, CA (June 6, 2005) - Electronic Arts announced today
that it will host the first of six Need for Speed Most Wanted Blacklist Regional
Tournaments in Houston, TX at the Formula Drift Championship on June 11, 2005.

In addition to being the first people in the country to play the game,
attendees will have a chance to compete for numerous prizes including a Finals
Grand Prize Trip Package to attend the Need for Speed Most Wanted launch event
in November 2005. Highlights from the Tournament will be televised on G4 –
videogame tv’s drifting series, “Formula D” on Sunday, July 10, at 10:30 PM
ET/7:30 PM PT.
Gamers can register online to enter the Houston Regional Tournament by visiting
the website at www.needforspeed.com. All Tournament participants will compete in
the “Toll Booth” mode where they will go up against other gamers as they try to
reach the in-game toll booth in the fastest time while evading cops and other
in-game obstacles. Complete details, Tournament Official Rules and prize

EA is the title sponsor of the 2005 Formula Drift Championship, the only
professional drifting championship in the world. The Need for Speed Most Wanted
Blacklist Tournament consists of six Regional Tournaments, one occurring each of
the following Formula Drift locations and dates: June 11 (Reliant Center,
Houston, TX), July 9 (Infineon Raceway - Sonoma, CA), August 6 (Soldier Field –
Chicago, IL) and August 27 (Irwindale Speedway – Irwindale, CA). Dates and
