Redmond, WA (June 17, 2004) - Nintendo announced today that starting Aug. 1, customers who reserve a copy of Pokemon FireRed or Pokemon LeafGreen for Game Boy Advance at participating retailers will receive the Pokemon Pocket Trainer's Guide.

The guide provides Pokemon facts and information about the various characters -- enough to turn even a Pokemon novice into the most rabid Pokemaniac.

Pokemon FireRed and Pokemon LeafGreen will be available Sept. 7 at an MSRP of $39.99 each. The games will come bundled with the new Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter, which will let players trade, battle and chat with one another with no connecting cords.
