San Francisco, CA (May 14, 2002) - Ubi Soft today announced Dragon's
Lair 3D for Xbox, PC and Mac -- an all-new 3D fantasy adventure game based on
the popular game and characters from legendary animator, Don Bluth.
Developed by Dragonstone, gamers will be able to fully experience Dragon's Lair
with the same quality of graphics and sound that made the arcade version such a
success. Dragon's Lair 3D is scheduled for release on Xbox, PC, and Mac in Fall
2002.

Dirk the Daring, a courageous knight, must save the beautiful Princess Daphne
who has been kidnapped by the evil dragon Singe, and hidden in a medieval castle
owned by Mordroc, a powerful and malevolent wizard. Gamers must use cat-like
reflexes, cunning and resourcefulness to solve puzzles, defeat a variety of
enemies, and fight their way through the castle to find Daphne and save the
kingdom from Mordroc's clutches.
- More than 150 new, unique 3D animations for Dirk the Daring allows Dirk to
run, jump, roll, sneak, climb, crouch, crawl, swing, push, lift and somersault
- A real-time 3D modeled and hand painted, textured world features new
next-generation visuals
- 15 large, detailed, action-packed levels featuring more than 40
environments to explore and 250+ new rooms with numerous puzzles, traps,
power-ups and hidden secrets to uncover
- The first Xbox title announced to feature 1080i High Definition TV
graphics mode
