Los Angeles, CA (March 16, 2004) - Vivendi Universal Games announced
that the video game The X-Files: Resist or Serve has shipped to retail stores
nationwide.
From VU Games:
The X-Files phenomenon has been combined with the best elements of a
next-generation survival horror game to create an engrossing gameplay
experience. Developed by Black Ops Entertainment for the PlayStationâ2 computer
entertainment system, The X-Files: Resist or Serve is a third-person action
adventure game spanning three unique episodes created by the executive producers
of The X-Files.
Play through the game as either of the two main characters, Agent Mulder or
Agent Scully, each with their own unique abilities. While on the path to solve
the mysteries they uncover and survive the ongoing nightmare surrounding them,
players will interact with familiar characters and environments that have been
faithfully recreated from The X-Files television show. With the inclusion of
authentic voiceovers from the entire cast including David Duchovny and Gillian
Anderson, a haunting score and music created by the composers responsible for
the music behind the television show and a storyline that fits into the timeline
of The X-Files’ seventh season, players are immersed into The X-Files
experience.
