Redmond, WA (March 9, 2004) - Microsoft today announced that Michelle
Rodriquez will be racing against Project Gotham 2 players on Xbox Live on March
12th.

She ruled the roads in The Fast and The Furious, and now she's ready to show
off her racing skills in Project Gotham Racing® 2. Actress Michelle Rodriquez,
star of such action films as The Fast and the Furious, S.W.A.T., Resident Evil
and Blue Crush is the latest celebrity to challenge gamers in Xbox Live's "Game
with Fame" contest series. Michelle's Gamertag will be announced on
www.xbox.com/live, so
that gamers will be able to join her Friends List and challenge her for a game
of Project Gotham Racing 2, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. PST on March 12.
Project Gotham Racing 2 is the follow-up to the smash hit Project Gotham
Racing. Rewarding drivers for racing with speed, style and daring, Project
Gotham Racing 2 offers circuit-based racing through highly detailed city
environments. Racers can choose from more than 100 of the hottest cars - from
speed-drenched exotics to sweet import tuners - while power-sliding through the
streets of 10 exciting cities, drifting around corners and accelerating through
the straightaways before moving to a different venue. PGR 2 now sets the
standard for online racing via Xbox Live online game service. Players can match
up against seven other friends online utilizing Xbox Live for intense grudge
matches, or play the entire single-player game with online-enabled downloadable
ghosts, real-time scoreboards, and soon, new downloadable cars and tracks.
Nearly 200,000 gamers are playing PGR 2 on Xbox Live worldwide.
Xbox Live's "Game With Fame" promotion gives game fans the opportunity to
play on Xbox Live against some of today's hottest stars. Past "Game with Fame"
celebrity players include Big Boi from OutKast, Jonathan Davis from KoRn and the
members of New Found Glory.
