Foster City, CA (March 19, 2003) - Sony today announced that their new
game Amplitude will be featured at the Winter Music Conference.

WHAT: PlayStation 2 presence at the Annual Winter Music Conference.
Amplitude will be featured at the American Society of
Composers, Authors and Performers (ASCAP) Booth, inside
FUNKSHION's Lummus Park Event Pod.
More than 7,200 music industry professionals and enthusiasts
from around the world will converge in Miami Beach for the 18th
annual Winter Music Conference. FUNKSHION is a complement to
the Winter Music Conference, credited as one of the most
important dates on the music industry calendar that is intended
to provide an intelligent, innovative platform for progressive
established and emerging designers.
Music fans of all genres at the event will have the opportunity
to play Amplitude, a music/rhythm-action game that features
music from artists such as The Crystal Method, Dieselboy, The
Baldwin Brothers, BT, P!NK, RUN-DMC, David Bowie and more.
Amplitude allows you to mix and remix more than 25 songs in
virtual, vibrant musical environments via your PlayStation 2
controller. Recreate your favorite songs by triggering musical
notes/phrases while controlling vocals and instruments such as
drums, bass and guitar.
